Early Life and Education

Born in Athens, Greece, Konstantina Gavala began working as an architect long before earning her degree, starting in 2001 while studying at the National Polytechnic of Athens, where she built foundational skills in architecture and engineering. She later graduated from ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona, solidifying her multidisciplinary foundation in architecture, design, and visual arts. She currently pursues a PhD in Architecture.​

Professional Journey

With over 25 years in the field—spanning architecture projects, freelance photography, and graphic design. In 2011, she founded Yellow Studio in Barcelona, delivering brand identities, editorial design, packaging, interiors, audiovisuals, and digital media.

In 2017, she co-founded Branding for Writers to empower authors through branding, marketing, and publishing. She has tutored at universities, including ELISAVA‘s Master in Design and Architecture. Currently, as Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of both studios, she innovates with AI-generated concepts, works as a Visual Artist, and holds the position of Director of Operations for Media Arts & Communication Spain at G100: Mission Million.

Achievements and Awards

Konstantina has earned prestigious accolades in Art Direction, Brand Identity, Publication, Advertising Campaign, Editorial Design, and Photography. These honours, alongside features in international magazines and exhibitions, highlight her excellence in art direction and editorial design. Her expertise is further affirmed by jury roles at Online Design Awards since 2023, where she evaluates global submissions and shapes industry benchmarks. She has also exhibited solo photography shows like Travelling Greece and Dead Flowers to My Wedding.

Publications and Authorship

A prolific author, Konstantina debuted in 2023 with Deja Huella (two Spanish editions on books as marketing tools), followed by Tu Voz, Tu Libro and Writing & Creativity Workbook, and Author of Your Future. Her upcoming 2026 release of Your Voice, Your Book in English continues empowering professionals via writing, design, and publishing.
